Get Rid of Stomach Flab and Get Flat Abs With This Secret

If you struggle to reduce your belly fat, so that you can uncover those elusive six pack abs, then I'm going to reveal in this article why you haven't been able to make progress with this area of your fitness.

A couple major problems I see as a fitness professional are that most people who are trying to lose stomach fat:

1. Most people spend way too much of their exercise efforts focusing on cardio based workouts, when in fact, a properly designed, high intensity strength training routine causes a much better hormonal response and metabolic rate increase than cardio based workout programs.

Also, as long as the strength training workout is designed with the right types of full body multi-joint exercises, and with the right types of rest intervals and intensity, you can actually burn as many calories (if not more calories) than with a typical cardio workout.

2. Another problem is that many people still think that they should be spending all of their workout time doing exercises that specifically target the stomach area and obliques. I think you should understand by now that spending all of your time doing exercises targeting the abs doesn't do much to burn the fat off of your stomach and love handles area.

Again, your time in your workouts could be much better spent by focusing on strategic strength training exercise combinations and full body training that will result in a much better decrease of body fat over time.

3. When it comes to diet, many people try to follow some sort of fad diet that restricts a certain macronutrient too much... like extremely low fat diets, or super low carb diets. The fact is that your body needs all of the macronutrients and food groups to maintain proper balance and build muscle and burn fat most effectively. Trying to eliminate certain food groups or macronutrients in general sets most people up for failure.

The main focus should be on avoiding processed foods, artificial ingredients, trans fats (hydrogenated oils), high fructose corn syrup, and other junk foods, while focusing on a whole-food organic diet full of variety and high nutrient density.

Many times when people get past the fads and gimmick diets and start to eat in a balanced whole food manner, a lot of the problems they were having start to take care of themselves, and the body fat starts to melt off, energy levels increase, and hormones are back in balance.

See below for more of the key secrets to flattening your stomach and bringing out sexy flat abs for life.

Fitness Programs for Women: Four Essential Tips

Fitness programs for women are often wrought with bad advice and pseudoscience. It's no wonder that so many fitness programs for women utterly fail! There's plenty of great information out there, but it can be impossible to find amidst the gimmicks, fad diets, and ineffective workout routines. If you're looking for fitness programs for women that really work, try using the four following tips.

1. Lift Heavy Weights
Plenty of women make their way into the weight room now and again, but most are afraid that they'll get "bulky" if they lift too heavy. That's nonsense! It takes male bodybuilders years of dedicated effort to pack on muscle mass, and they've got testosterone and tons of food on their side. Not only will you not get "too big" by lifting challenging weights - you'll actually look better.
Lifts like squats, bench presses, deadlifts, and other heavy movements are great for stimulating your metabolism and packing on a little bit of lean mass. Whether or not you realize it, that's really what you want! The right amount of muscle gives you a lean, fit look that you simply can't achieve with cardio alone. Challenging yourself in the gym will also cause you to burn more calories, which means you get to eat more and still lose weight.
2. Low Fat is NOT Healthy!
Some nutritionists are still stuck in the 1980s' low-fat craze, but avoiding dietary fat is NOT going to get you the results you want. In fact, most "low-fat" products like crackers, pretzels, and other grain-based products will make it nearly impossible to get lean! They make your blood sugar levels skyrocket, which in turn causes your body to secrete tons of insulin - a hormone which actually makes your body store even more fat. If you're trying to get lean, ditch most of your carbs and eat plenty of olive oil, avocados, nuts, and even some red meat.
3. Ease Up on the Cardio
If you're going to start lifting heavy weights (which you should!), then you're also going to need to ease up on all of that cardio you're probably doing. Slaving away on a treadmill or elliptical is simply not necessary, and it eats up way too much of your time. It's great to do a few short sessions per week for your cardiovascular health, but hours upon hours of monotonous movement aren't going to help you lose fat.
However, there is a much better type of cardio for optimal fat loss: interval training! On a track, treadmill, elliptical, or exercise bike, simply alternate short bursts of all-out sprinting with longer bouts of active rest. For example, you might do eight rounds of fifteen-second sprints and forty-five second "jogs" on an elliptical machine. The whole thing will be over in under ten minutes, but the intensity of the workout will cause your body to burn more fat all day long.
4. Don't Under-eat
One of the worst things you can do in fitness programs for women is to eat too little. Your body is an adaptive machine, and it will respond to severe calorie restriction by slowing its metabolism way down. Have you ever noticed how lethargic, tired, and cold you get when you don't eat enough? Those are sure signs that your body is burning less fuel!
That's not to say that you shouldn't cut calories at all - your body does need a reason to use its fat stores for energy instead of your food. The key is to eat just little enough that you can burn fat while avoiding hunger. Focus first on the right food choices, and then start counting calories if you truly need to. Overall, it's best to take it slow and steady with your fitness programs for women and focus on losing no more than a pound per week.

Revolutionary Workout Routine For Burning Maximum Body Fat

You only have two choices when it comes to losing fat...

Either you chase the pill and powder hype, or you do it the real, proven, effective way. The choice is yours, but I'm hoping that you're reading this article in hope for a healthy solution, not a chemically-tainted one.

There is no real secret to losing fat. There are better solutions that many people are unaware of, but there are no secrets. As a health and fitness consultant, my objective is to help you get informed on the best possible methods of losing bodyfat.

It all boils down to three simple things. You need to eat right, exercise often, and change some habits. The main objective of this article is to lay out the exercise and workout component. Based on extensive research and real-world results, I've identified a workout routine that is sure to deliver great results.

The following workout routine incorporates cutting-edge science with the methodology of some of the elite trainers in the country. Give this workout a shot, and you should be able to lose a considerable amount of bodyfat, without losing muscle mass or going on starvation diets.

The principles are simple, yet powerful. Basically, the emphasis of this workout routine is to force your body to burn fat for fuel, and elevate your metabolism for a prolonged period of time. The key principles are pre-workout preparation, short weight training, and variable intensity cardio.

Anxious to get started? Check out the fat-burning workout routine below:

*Pre-workout*

This is a very important phase. Preparation during this phase can help you burn bodyfat for fuel and gain the energy needed to sustain a fairly intense workout.

- Make sure you haven't eaten for 2 hours prior.
- Take natural green tea extract, standardized with 60% polyphenols and EGCG as the marker compound. Green tea is a wonderful energy booster and it has been proven to help the body burn more fat than caffeine along.
- Be well hydrated - Water is your best friend for fat-loss. It helps to increase your metabolic rate, increase your muscle contractile strength, and increase aerobic ouput.

*Workout*

First of all, you have to warm-up properly to promote blood-flow. Secondly, a short weight training session before your cardio session depletes glycogen. Glycogen is the substance that is burned before your body taps into fat for fuel. Lastly, the cardio you'll be performing is of variable intensity. Basically, variable intensity means that you don't perform the cardio at the the same intensity, but rather you change the intensities to prevent your body from adapting.

- 5 minutes light aerobic exercise
- 20 minutes medium intensity weight lifting
-- Squats or leg-presses
-- Leg Curls
-- Bench press or chest press
-- Machine rows
-- Lat Pull-downs
-- Hanging Leg Raises
-- Weighted Crunches
-- Sidebends

- 30 minutes fat-burning cardio
-- Variable low to medium intensity (Switch speeds or intensities frequently. Don't do the same intensity for prolonged periods)

*Post-Workout*

- Drink 20-26 ounces of purified or spring water
- Wait 1 hour
- Then, consume 300-400 calorie meal with 50-25-25 caloric ratio (Carbs-Fats-Protein)
- Eat same meal every 3-4 hours

The post-workout guidelines are straight-forward. Water is essential, and eating the right meals is key to keep the metabolic fire burning. Small, frequent meals is one of the best ways to keep the calorie burning at a high level.

Give this workout routine a try, and you'll see the difference it makes in your overall physique. You will feel fit and look toned. In time, as the fat just melts away, your current wardrobe might feel a lot looser. Just don't say that I didn't warn you.

There are may more tips and tricks you can apply for burning maximum bodyfat. The key is to find the right information and apply it in your workout routines. Always remember, the supplement industry may not have your best interest in mind, and when you're buying a fitness book, don't judge it by its cover.
